The DT Elf girls aren't "Wee", but for some reason I always seem to categorize them in with my smaller dolls, maybe because I often enjoy photographing them with my Realpuki's. I do enjoy the Elf girl body quite a bit though, and have recently added an actual Elf head to the mix. I saw this girl FS on the DOA marketplace quite a while ago and kept going back to look at her, imagining her as a Rainbow Fairy, very similar to Iplehouse CREAA J Chloe. I have been tempted by the CREAA line quite a few times, but while Chloe REALLY tempted me I didn't want to get into yet another size etc. Anyway I kept going back to the pale little DT Elf Soyu in the DOA Marketplace and thinking with the right face up she could be really beautiful as a rainbow fairy.
Below is a shot of her as she first arrived to me.
I sent the photos of CREAA J Chloe to Akiko (Vitta Vera) and asked what she thought about doing her take on a rainbow fairy with my little Soyu who I decided to call Viridian (Viri for short). I did ask for brows on my girl, which the Iple inspiration didn't have. Akiko had some wonderful ideas. My girl arrived home this week, and turned out so beautiful I just had to share her.
The color in her faceup is hard to see, but there is a great graduation of color on her ears. They have purple tips!
And a shot of her in a white wig. She's very whimsical, which was what I was looking for. You can see the color on her face a little better in the shot below.
I think she will be a lot of fun, and will let herself to several wig colors. I look forward to playing with her more and finding different looks for her.
