Baby Fascination

I have a display on top of my dresser in my doll room of the little ones looking down on baby, and thought I would recreate it for pictures for the blog.

Sisters

One of the things I love most about BJD's is how each sculpt can look SO different when interpreted by different artists. Eye and wig changes can even further increase play value. One of my favorite Dollstown sculpts is Maru. I have 2 of them, each interpreted by different artists. Maisie, the brunette on the left is by VittaVera and was inspired by the Snow White/Rose Red stories. Her sister Maddie, the blonde was painted by Lyn Raftis.

Both of my girls are on the Elf bodies, as I prefer it over the 7 year old body.

Looking at them together it is hard to believe they are the same sculpt. Joined here by one of their Pipo's friends. Outfits by Robyn of Period Threads.

Fairyland Friends

Maya got a new skirt and corset, so she decided to pose for some photos and of course Nuzzli had to get in the act. Corset by Raouken on Etsy. Skirt by Period Threads.

Nuzzli loves her secrets, as well as lots of kisses.

Love

I had Celia, my minifee Celine out yesterday, so just for the heck of it I decided to see how her scale was with my Dream Valley Ding.

I think the scale is pretty darn good.

So if any of you out there are looking for a baby for your minifee's, the Dream Valley babies are a pretty good fit.

A Wintertime Story

Just felt like playing a bit this morning so got Celia out with the Littlefee's to tell them a story.

And as happens with little ones..........there were distractions.

And a group shot where you can see all their little faces.

Just Because Photos

Some new pictures of Laurel in a gown and belt that Robyn of Period Threads made for me, just because these DT Elf girls always make me smile.

The Girl Dressed in Gold

Meaghan got a new gown from Period Threads not too long ago and I finally got around to putting her in it and taking some new photos. I also went a little crazy and got a few Monique's wigs when I read that they were going to be going out of business. The "Elsa" wig in black that Meaghan is wearing here among them.

One of the things I love about the minifee's is the magnetic hands and feet. Makes them so easy to change. I thought this pair looks so realistic playing with her braid.

And one with her my Celia, also in a Period Threads gown.
