Last Hit of Winter

 This morning I woke up to 30 degree weather and snow flurries. It seems like spring will never get here. I guess we have it a WHOLE lot better than those in other parts of the country that have had to deal with massive amounts of snow though! Anyway, I decided to put Viri in this beautiful medieval gown from Robyn of Period Threads and get some new photos.

I love the size of my DT Elf girls, they straddle that big doll/mini doll line, and they are just a really nice size to handle. Big enough you can enjoy more types of fabrics and are available to the mini/tiny scale, and small enough that they aren't cumbersome to handle.

And they have that element of whimsy, much like the Fairyland dolls that sparks the imagination when playing with them.

Lishe x 2

 I've been on a bit of a Fairyland kick the past couple of days. Finally got my MNF Lishe and her LTF counterpart together for some photos. I was so pleased with the face up that Fairyland did on both of them, especially the MNF version of Lishe. A close up to see their beautiful face ups.

New Eyes

 Just a one of, of Kenzie and Annie as I went through my eye stash yesterday and found something a bit "brighter" for each of them that what they previously had. I think the new eyes really brighten up their adorable faces.

Newbie

 As evidenced by having a blog devoted to them, the little ones have a special place in my collector's heart. They just make me smile. Every time I get them out to pose, play and phtotograph them, they always leave me in a good mood with a smile on my face. I've been trying to do better about adding to the numbers this year, and since I have a tan fullset Egyptian Kaka in lay a way I have been trying hard to resist the normal skin one Denver Doll had in stock. This week my resistance failed. 

I think I may actually like the Pukifee version of Kaka better than I like her smaller Realpuki counterpart (although I love her too!). I'll have to get some pics of the two of them together soon. In the meantime a couple of shots of her with my only other Pukifee, Annie (Ante).

I need to come up with a name for her. I'm thinking about Kenzie. I'll see if through some more playtime with her it sticks. So much attitude in such a little package. Glad I caved.
